Water was absolutely crystal clear from the well

The farmer installed a HydroBoost unit to clean well water and was very very happy with the results

When drilling a new well, the drilling company bored a hole to 120m but were not able to find a shingle seam. As a result, the well was extracting ground water through the sand. It used to come up orange and be high in Iron and Manganese. In speaking to their services provider, Hydroboost was suggested as a way to clean the water and a HydroBoost unit was installed on the new stock water well.

When the tap was turned on, the water coming out was clear. The owner couldn’t believe it – it was crystal clear. Not only was the water cleaned up, another huge benefit was the way HydroBoost cleaned up the residue in the pipes. Previously, these had lead to blockages in pipes and ballcocks causing ongoing maintenance tasks and reduced water to troughs.

The farmer goes on to say that stock health has been very very good this year with energised water being shown in other examples where there have been improvements in stock health. As well, the stock tended to hang around the troughs more.

The HydroBoost unit is relatively simple to install and does not require any major engineering. From 32mm up to 80mm pipe size, (see the HydroBoost XL for sizes 100mm upwards) and runs on a 24v power supply from a 240v power socket.
