Water visibly clearer with HydroBoost
What was the problem?
The water being extracted from the farmers bore was exceptionally high in Iron. As you can see in the video, the farmer likened the ‘water’ to that of a weak tomato soup. It wasn’t very good, the stock were having to drink it and the farmer needed to do something.
What was the solution?
Four HydroBoost units were initially installed in two water tanks. After a couple of months, another two were installed on the last water tank and a further two HydroBoost units on the water lines from the pump shed to the first water tank
What were the benefits?
The first and reassuring signal was that the water was visibly clearer. This demonstrated that the Iron was being nuetralised by the HydroBoost technology. The Dairy shed team also noticed the water being cleaner and this reduced brown staining on the shed walls. As well, water troughs started cleaning up. While there is additional cleaning required, the HydroBoost technology has .given the farmer confidence to undertake additional infrastructure improvements over the winter period.
The stock also appeared to be drinking more water and there appears to be reduced blockages in water pipes..
