What was the problem?
For this homeowner, the town supplied chlorinated water was causing her skin to inflame and become itchy. It was uncomfortable and was increasingly becoming annoying. Washing and bathing were now becoming a pain point and something had to change.
What was the solution?
The customer asked for a HydroBoost unit to be installed. A local plumber fitted it to the outside house supply which provided for the entire house and outside taps.
The HydroBoost unit only required a single phase 3 pin plug, (normal domestic socket) which ran through a transformer delivering 24v power to the unit.
The installation was completed in less than 60min.
What were the benefits?
The customer didn’t notice the difference straight away, but after a few days, she noticed that the water was good. less chlorine smell and taste. Some of the benefits have been;
- Skin itchiness significantly reduced
- Water tasted better/good – less chlorine
- Easier to clean surfaces
- Hair softer and bouncier
- Hair colour was remaining in hair longer than 2 weeks
- Husband was able to wash cars and not get streaks on glass
- Felt better and more vibrant
Next steps
This was achieved without the use of any chemicals and only uses a single phase power supply to a 24vDC transformer (effectively very little electricity).
