HydroBoost reduces Iron in water
What was the problem?
Iron in the bore water was causing problems with blocked pipes, tainted water and most importantly, the cows were reluctant to drink the ‘rusty’ water.
What was the solution?
A HydroBoost unit was installed in the stock water pump shed in a 50mm pipe. There was no need for an electrician, additional filters or additives and no other changes were made to the infrastructure with the installation taking around 25min.
What were the benefits?
Iron reduced – water is clear
HydroBoost has reduced iron in the stock water. The Iron levels have reduced significantly. Cows are now able to drink the water and potentially, milk quality is up. As well, the debri built up in the pipe over years of extraction has started to break up and move through the pipes. This has caused some blockages, but when these have been cleared, the water is flowing much freer.
Dogs drinking water
The dogs are also choosing to drink the water – often choosing the HydroBoosted water over clear puddles lying on the paddock.
