The Calcium build up in the water lines was causing real problems with appliances for Heartland Homes.
What was the solution?
A HydroBoost unit was installed on the incoming town supply to the house just after a filter. HydroBoost managed the installation which took about 71min to complete. The 24v HydroBoost unit was powered from an existing 240v power supply in the house.
What were the benefits?
Heartland Homes laid down the challenge around Calcium build up. Their electric jug would ‘cludge’ up with Calcium and would effectively be unusable every 3 to 4 months. Despite constant cleaning, the Calcium remained. After the HdyroBoost unit was installed, a new jug was purchased. After 3 and a half months, the new jug was only showing a smidgeon of Calcium whihc was easily wiped off. As well, the management could drink the water straight from the tap. Compared to their home water, the HydroBoosted Amberley water was light years apart.
