What was the problem?
The homeowners had problems heavy buildup of scale on the shower door and on kitchen appliances. As well, the water wasn’t tasting very nice. It wasn’t easy or nice to drink from the tap.
What was the solution?
A HydroBoost unit was installed on the incoming town supply to the house just after a filter. The owner, a local plumber took approximately 45 min to compete the installation. The HydroBoost unit was powered from an existing 240v power supply in the house.
What were the benefits?
Within 2 weeks, the water was different. It was softer, not harsh on the skin and it also felt smoother. Within 4 weeks, the scaling had started clearing up. The home owner has been in the water business for over 50 years, so knows good water from bad water. The owner also has noticed that his skin is softer and feels better. While he admits, that does sound strange, but he is noticing that there are benefits to the skin. He is also drinking more water and now finds it enjoyable to drink water from the tap.
