HydroBoost clears floaties and scum in 2 weeks
A Dairy Farmer in Canterbury had a problem with his effluent clip tank. The surface had grown with vegetation up to 400mm in height across the pond. It was effectively ‘dead’ and was not usable. There was no effluent being pumped into the tank – it was sitting ‘idle’.
HydroBoost were approached to dissolve the organic growth allowing a stirrer to be installed and the tank emptied. The HydroBoost unit, using a standard 240v single phase power supply was installed on the 22nd Jul 2015. Within 24 hours, bubbling was observed on the tank surface. Less than 2 weeks later, the crust/organic buildup had dissolved enough to show a clear tank surface on the 3rd Aug 2015.
The effluent in the clip tank was now usable, saved the farmer considerable expense, enabled the clip tank to be used once again and saved an environmental headache.

This 2,500m2 effluent pond was clogged up with an Effluent crust. Within 4 weeks HydroBoost had dissolved half of it.

A new HydroBoost unit was installed in Feb and within 15 days, the scum and floaties had dissolved.
The HydroBoost Effluent solution is relatively simple to install and should not require any major engineering. All that is required is a 240v power socket from a pump shed or power box.
